The Deree Track & Field Academy excelled at the U14 Championship in Spata, held on Saturday, September 23.
Dimitris Agalos won the 2nd place in the 800 meters, while Marialena Kalampogia won the 3rd place in the long jump and Chryssa Papandreou won the 3rd place in the shot put.
Our athletes were accompanied by coaches Despina Horozoglou and Vicky Kalogeropoulou.

The Deree Tennis Academy participated in the U18 ITF Junior Tour International tournament with 6 athletes. The tournament was held in Mytilini on September 17-24, with 80 children and 24 different nationalities taking part.
Yiannis Sakkas, who played with Thanos Kakouridis, won the 3rd place in doubles, while Elli Gerontikou and Evgenia Kakari reached the 16 finalists in the singles, achieving their first victories in an ITF competition.
In their ITF tournaments debout, Antonis Malavazos achieved two wins, while George Tzitzimikas achieved one win.
Ethalia Andrianou and Yiannis Sakkas reached the top 32 of the general rank.

The Deree Tennis Academy successfully participated in the E3 Open tennis tournament, held in Rafina, on September 8-11.
Congratulations to Alexandros Verykokos, who won the 2nd place in singles, achieving four wins until the final, while Efthalia Andrianou and Melina Papageorgiou won the 3rd place, reaching the semi-finals.
At the Tennis Europe tournament, Antonis Malavazos and Konstantinos Papanastasiou won the 3rd place in doubles, while in doubles Antonis reached the quarterfinals.

Upon completion of registration in the relevant federation and the acquisition of the athletic recognition from the General Secretariat of Sports for the sport of Open Water Swimming, we are happy to welcome the sport in our program!
Additionally, our team departed earlier today to Paralio Astros Kynourias in order to participate in the National championship that will be held there September 9-10.

The Deree Tennis Academy successfully participated in the E1 tennis tournament, held in Aridaia, on August 22-26. Congratulations to Elli Gerontikou, who won the 2nd place in doubles, with her teammate Eleftheria Tsigarida, while in singles Elli and Konstantinos Papanastasiou reached the quarterfinals.
Filippos Georgantas, won the 2nd place and a silver medal in the 100m with 11.08, while Evelyn Mitropoulou, competed in the long jump with a performance of 5.70, and won also the silver medal.

The Deree Tennis Academy participated with 16 athletes in the E1 Pan-Hellenic Tournament, held in Serres July 24-28. Anastasia Babaroutsi and George Tzitzmikas won the 3rd place in doubles, while Athina Pagomenou won the 2nd place in singles at the E3 Tournament, held in Rafina on July 28-31.
Yiannis Sakkas, Pierce student on an athletic scholarship, travelled to Latiano, Italy, on August 2-4, along with the U16 National team.
12 athletes also participated in the U16 Tennis Europe International Tournament, held in Kilkis on August 1-4. Marily Iliopoulou won the 2nd place in doubles, while Anastasia Barbaroutsi won the 3rd place.

Congratulations to Konstantinos Papanastasiou, who won the 2nd place in singles, after winning four matches until the final game, while Paris Passas and George Tzitzimikas won the 2nd place in doubles.

The National Age Groups Swimming Championship concluded on Monday afternoon with the results for the Deree Swim Academy team exceeding all expectations!
Our athletes, in the end a very demanding season with participation in many events, had an impressive performance in the most important swimming competition of the year.
This resulted in winning the 1st place in the Girls’ Category, the 2nd place in total ranking, and the 4th place in Boys’.
In total our team won 36 medals (12-12-12), and our athletes participated in 31 finals!
It is remarkable that our team continues in top places in the National championship after the 1st place in 2021, and the 2nd in 2022.
