On Saturday, April 20, the Deree Track & Field Academy successfully organized the U14 Triathlon Championship.
The races took place with the participation of Athens College, Moraitis, Doukas, and Paleo Psychiko Athletic Club, with all athletes giving their best in the 60m, long jump, and 800m events.
An internal competition was also held for our younger academy athletes, featuring speed, jumping, and endurance events.

Furthermore, on Monday, April 22, two male athletes and one female athlete represented the Deree Track & Field Academy in the final phase of the Panhellenic School Championships, held at the National Stadium of Serres. Georgantas Filippos competed in the 100m final, where he secured the 3rd place and the bronze medal, with a time of 11.02 sec., Mitropoulou Evelin achieved the 4th place in the long jump final with a jump of 5.70m, while Stathakos Sotiris took the 6th place in the 110m hurdles final, setting a personal record of 15.10 sec.

In the last event chronologically, at the U20 Men’s-Women’s Championship, the Deree Track & Field Academy put on a very good performance with a total of 10 athletes, winning 2 medals.

The medals were won by:

• Metropoulou Evelin – 1st place, with a personal record of 25.52 sec in the 200m (U20)

• Georgantas Filippos – 2nd place, with a personal record of 10.96 sec in the 100m (U20)
