Our track and field athletes, Ioanna Tsoni and Aimilios Skourtis (both Pierce students on athletic scholarship) had very good races in the “PanHellenic Track and Field Championship U18”, held at Panthessalikos Stadium in Volos, July 10-11.

Ioanna Tsoni ran a great race in the semi-final and qualified for the final in 100m hurdles. At 15,64, she won 13^th place.

Emilios Skourtis, although competing in the U16 category, ran in the 100m semi-final, achieved a personal best with 11,91 and ranked 30^th.
