The Deree Swim Academy successfully participated with 58 athletes in the “20th Venizeleia International Swim Meet”, held April 21-23 at the National Swimming Pool of Chania, Crete.
The very demanding period of training, and the positive results in the meeting with many personal records achieved, give confidence to our swimmers for the important events to follow.
Our team won 17 medals in total (2 gold, 9 silver and 6 bronze) with:
- Zarmpouti Areti (200m breaststroke) – gold medal
- Pazaiti Ioanna (200m backstroke) – gold medal
- Patsoureas Stratos (100m freestyle, 100m butterfly and 100m backstroke) – silver medal
- Rota Stella (200m butterfly and 200m individual medley) – silver medal
- Sotiriou Lydia (50m and 200m breaststroke) – silver medal & (800m freestyle and 100m breaststroke) – bronze medal
- Kalampaliki Iris (200m backstroke) – silver medal & (200m freestyle and 200m individual medley) – bronze medal
- Pazaiti Ioanna (100m backstroke) – silver medal
- Zografakis Angelos (50m butterfly) – bronze medal
