The Deree Tennis Academy athletes Yiannis Sakkas, Antonis Malavazos, Alexandros Verykokos, Marily Iliopoulou and Eugenia Kakari, performed very well at the U16 Tennis Europe International Tournament – Category 2, held January 16-21 in Larnaca, Cyprus.
Yiannis Sakkas, Pierce student on an athletic scholarship, won the 2nd place in doubles by achieving three wins, and reached the quarterfinals in singles by achieving two wins!
