1821 Km Challenge!

1821 Km Challenge

Join the “1.821Km Challenge” and celebrate the 200-year Greek independence anniversary with the Office of Athletics!

Log a minimum distance of 3km either walking, running, cycling, skateboarding, or swimming on any application or GPS tracker, and send a print screen or picture to the Office of Athletics ([email protected]) along with your ACG ID number, name, photo, and consent for posting. We log the distance – not the time.

We start counting from March 25 on, adding every participant’s distance until we complete the 1.821 kilometers.

You may participate as many times as you wish; all participants will be recognized on our social media, and on a commemorative video presentation!

Participation is open to Deree, ALBA, Pierce students, ACG Faculty & Staff, and DCAC staff, members, and athletes!

We may be in lockdown, but this is no excuse to neglect our fitness routine. Moreover, yoga and Pilates help boost our immune system and are known to improve our mental health and well-being.

Deree Athletics helps us keep those chakras aligned and takes care of our overall shape by offering online yoga, Pilates, and body sculpt classes to the ACG community!

From Monday, November 9, ACG Fitness members, Deree students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join the following live online group fitness classes:

  • BODY SCULPT every Monday-Wednesday-Friday 17:00-17:45
  • PILATES MAT every Monday-Wednesday-Friday 18:00-18:45
  • YOGA every Monday-Tuesday-Thursday 19:00-19:45

The link for each program will be posted every morning on the “Deree Athletic Club” and  “Deree Athletics” Facebook pages.
