Evelyn Mitropoulou and Filippos Georgantas travel with the Greel National U18 Track & Field team to Maribor, Slovenia for the Balkan U18 Championship!

Tomorrow, Friday, July 5, the athletes of τthe Deree Track & Field Academy, Evelyn Mitropoulou and Filippos Georgantas, will depart for Maribor, Slovenia, with the National team delegation, to participate in the Balkan U18 Championship, which will take place on Saturday, July 6.

Evelyn will compete in the long jump final at 12:00 PM (Greek time) to confirm her good form before the European Championship in her category. Our athlete holds the third-best performance among the participants.

Philip will compete in the first qualifying heat of the 100m at 1:30 PM (Greek time), aiming for a spot in the final and a time under 10.90 (the European U18 Championship standard) to qualify for the European Championship in his category.
