The former athlete of the Deree Swim Academy, Konstantinos Stamou, in his first participation in the Olympic Games!

This morning, the Greek delegation departed for Paris to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games, which officially begin on Friday, July 26. Among the delegation is former Deree Swim Academy athlete Konstantinos Stamos, who was a member of DCAC and the Pierce athletic scholarship program from 2015 to 2021. During that time, he broke more than 20 national records and won numerous national and international titles!

Now, he is ranked among the top swimmers globally and will be competing in the world's biggest sporting event. Konstantinos will participate in the 4×200 freestyle relay, alongside Andreas Vazaios, Dimitris Markos, and Konstantinos Englezakis, to qualify for the event's final.

The race will take place on July 30, and all our best wishes go out to Konstantinos and the other members of the Greek delegation, who have already made us proud.

Good luck and warm congratulations to everyone!
