Promising performances and results for the Deree Track & Field Academy in the "U18 Boys & Girls Track & Field Championship "!
Good performances and one (1) medal for the Deree Track & Field Academy, in the "U18 Boys & Girls Track & Field Championship", held on Sunday, May 8 at Agios Kosmas.
Specifically:
- Ioanna Tsoni (Pierce student on an athletic scholarship) with 15.37 won the 2nd place and the silver medal in the 100m hurdles.
- Emilios Skourtis (Pierce student on an athletic scholarship) run the 200m. in 24.11
- Filippos Georgantas run the 100m in 12.01.
Remarkable performances were also made by our U16 athletes Christina Xanthopoulou (5.28.69 - 1500m), Evelyn Mitropoulou (4.89m – long jump), and Apostolos Kontarinis (25.88 - 200m), who improved their records, as they are getting prepared for the Panhellenic Championship of their category that will be held on July 2-3.
