Thodoris Mitsakos, Pierce student on an athletic scholarship, performed successfully in the “ITF Juniors Tournament-Category 4”, that held in Ioannina July 5-11.
Thodoris won the 2nd place and climbed 22 positions in the world ranking, reaching the 190th place in the U18 age group, being the top Greek tennis athlete of his age group!
Next week, Thodoris will be with our national team at the Pan-European Championship that will be held in Kloster, Switzerland, on July 19-25.
It is also worth mentioning that Giannis Sakkas, another one Pierce student on an athletic scholarship, was with our U14 national team at the Pan-European Championship that held in Royan, France, June 25-29.
