The Deree Tennis Academy successfully participated in the E3 Open tennis tournament, held in Rafina, on September 8-11.

Congratulations to Alexandros Verykokos, who won the 2nd place in singles, achieving four wins until the final, while Efthalia Andrianou and Melina Papageorgiou won the 3rd place, reaching the semi-finals.

At the Tennis Europe tournament, Antonis Malavazos and Konstantinos Papanastasiou won the 3rd place in doubles, while in doubles Antonis reached the quarterfinals.

Congratulations to all for their participation and effort.

The Deree Tennis Academy successfully participated in the E1 tennis tournament, held in Aridaia, on August 22-26. Congratulations to Elli Gerontikou, who won the 2nd place in doubles, with her teammate Eleftheria Tsigarida, while in singles Elli and Konstantinos Papanastasiou reached the quarterfinals.

The Deree Tennis Academy participated with 16 athletes in the E1 Pan-Hellenic Tournament, held in Serres July 24-28. Anastasia Babaroutsi and George Tzitzmikas won the 3^rd place in doubles, while Athina Pagomenou won the 2^nd place in singles at the E3 Tournament, held in Rafina on July 28-31.

Yiannis Sakkas, Pierce student on an athletic scholarship, travelled to Latiano, Italy, on August 2-4, along with the U16 National team.

12 athletes also participated in the U16 Tennis Europe International Tournament, held in Kilkis on August 1-4. Marily Iliopoulou won the 2^nd place in doubles, while Anastasia Barbaroutsi won the 3^rd place.

The Deree Tennis Academy successfully participated in the U16 E2 tennis tournament, held in Vari, on July 20-24.

Congratulations to Konstantinos Papanastasiou, who won the 2^nd place in singles, after winning four matches until the final game, while Paris Passas and George Tzitzimikas won the 2^nd place in doubles.

The Deree Tennis Academy successfully participated in the U16 E3 tennis tournament, held in Vari, on July 14-17.

Congratulations to Antonis Malavazos, who won the 1st place after winning all his four matches, and to Paris Passas, who reached the semi-finals and won the 3rd place!

The Deree Tennis Academy traveled on July 9-16, with 9 athletes and our head coach George Karagiannis to Mallorca, to participate in the world famous Rafa Nadal Academy program!

Our athletes participated in their weekly training program and tournament, where they won 4 first and 2 second places!

This was a unique opportunity and lifetime experience to visit a top program, and train with athletes from all over the world.

The Deree Tennis Academy successfully participated in two E3 Open Tennis Tournament, held in Kefalonia on July 1-2.

In Kefalonia, Alexandros Verykokos won the 1^st place in boys U16, and Orestis Verykokos won the 2^nd place in boys U10.

In Larissa, Dimitris Antonopoulos won the 2^nd place in boys U16.

Τhe Deree Tennis Academy successfully participated with 15 athletes in the international tournament “Ten-Pro Global Junior Tour”, held on June 24-30 in Belgrade at the Novak Tennis Center.

Our athletes participated in more than 50 matches, and won three first, two second and three third places with:

• Melina Papageorgiou: 1^st place in U15 and U16
• Konstantinos Papanastasiou: 1^st place in U15
• Antonis Malavazos: 2^nd place in U15 and U16
• Giorgos Tzitzimikas: 3^rd place in U16
• Elli Gerontiko: 3^rd place in U16
• George Bouskos: 3^rd place in U15

On Thursday, June 15, the Deree Tennis Academy held its annual summer celebration and the final games of the orange, green, and yellow ball tournaments.

The parents and guests had the opportunity to watch very interesting and exciting games, and the awards ceremony.
